From Port Pirie, it’s approximately an hour drive to Port Augusta, 3 hours drive to Wilpena Pound in the Flinders Ranges National Park, and 6 hours to Coober Pedy. The John Pirie Motor Inn is an excellent choice for stop-overs for travellers heading North to visit Lake Eyre, or for those coming South from the Northern Territory.
