When you’re in charge of organising the next company meeting, a public seminar, group workshop or conference, finding the right venue is imperative. So is ensuring that all of your catering, accommodation and AV requirements fall within budget. Which is where we at the John Pirie Motor Inn come in to provide a hassle free solution for you.
The John Pirie Motor Inn is conveniently located, particularly when you have delegates coming from multiple locations North and South – from Adelaide or the Mid North, Port Pirie is central and easily accessible off the main highway.
The main function room has a dedicated entrance, with the capacity to seat up to 30 people theatre style, and the flexibility to set up with tables for workshop presentations, or arrange seating as required for the needs of your event.
Additionally, the function room is adjacent JP’s restaurant, which can be utilised as a break out space, for catering outside of the function room, or for larger day functions for up to 100 people.
Private dinner events requiring us to close the restaurant to public and guests can often also be accommodated, subject to availability, minimum spend and accommodation bookings. We would encourage you to enquire with our professional team if you would like any more information about holding a large event in JP’s Restaurant, such as an engagement party or wedding, milestone birthday celebration, gala dinner or social club presentations and awards – we would be delighted to have the opportunity to speak with you about hosting your event.
A variety of catering packages are offered to suit the style of your event – ranging from basic coffee & tea on arrival, or a sandwich lunch, right through to specially prepared menus for 3 course dinners – and everything in between.
Wireless internet is now included free of charge for your delegates, if required, and any audio visual requirements, such as microphone, PA or data projector can be hired on your behalf with advance notice.
If you have delegates travelling to attend, let us accommodate them onsite. We would be pleased to offer you with a specific corporate accommodation rate available for the date/s of your conference or seminar. And for those coming by car, there is off street car parking available onsite.
